Dr. Rodger Morrison, Sorrell College of Business Montgomery Campus, has finished his third book. The book title is “Human-to-Machine Interaction: Historical and contemporary applications of a proposed general model with comparisons to the Human Interpersonal Communications model.” and has been published by VDM Verlag in Saarbrücken, Germany. (ISBN 978-3-639-19588-0). This work outlines a holistic comparison between the traditional sender-receiver-message-feedback model of interpersonal communication and elements from a draft model of human-to-machine interaction, noting significant differences relating to will and emotion. Also, applications of both models are made to historical and contemporary examples of numerous different modes of interpersonal communication and machine types.
