The assessment consists of two case-based activities that will be used to evaluate student learning in the following areas:
- Ethics & CSR (BSBA Core SLO 3.1 & 3.2)
- Written communication (BSBA Core SLO 2.1 & 2.2)
- Culture (BSBA Core SLO 4.2)
To obtain all needed elements of the assessment in Blackboard, BUS 4474 instructors will import a Blackboard package that contains the case, Blackboard assignments and student instructions.
The case Forming GameRush, Inc. will be used for the pre-test. The case Selling Medical Ultrasound Technology in Asia will be used for the post-test.
Students should be given three days to complete the pre-test and one week to complete the post-test case. Students will upload their work as a Word document to the Blackboard assignment.
The student work will be evaluated by committee after the end of the course using the pre- and post-test cases.
The case analysis should count towards 10% of the students' final grade in BUS 4474.
Students can have access to the rubrics from the start of the course. To make this easy, the rubrics are provided as a separate Blackboard item.
The case is administered as a take-home assignment. Students may use external materials in the completion of the case analysis.
