The Department of Business Programs includes degrees in Finance, General Business, Management, Information Systems and Marketing as well as supporting courses in Quantitative Methods, Law and Economics.
Each of the majors is designed to provide fundamental business education as well as specific education to facilitate each student's success in a business career. The department takes a "strengths" perspective for each student, both encouraging students to recognize and maximize their personal strengths while at the same time encouraging students to recognize and maximize organizational strengths. Each student is assigned a business faculty advisor when a business major is declared to support education decisions. This department is the home for multiple student organizations that have been recognized for their contributions both to students and to communities.
