Mr. Finger was appointed President of Sikorsky Aircraft in June 2003. He also simultaneously served as president of Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines, where he oversaw production and development programs, business and customer support of the company’s military offerings, which included the F119, F135 (JSF), F100, F117, J52, TF33, TF30, Small Military Engines and Advanced Programs.

Mr. Finger joined P&W in 1970 and has an extensive background working with both military and commercial customers. He received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from University of Virginia in 1970. He was a member of the Sloan Fellows Program, earning an MS in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996.

He is a member of both the AIAA and AFA and holds two patents. Mr. Finger also received the prestigious Aviation Week Laurels Award in 1991. He has been active in community affairs throughout his career and is especially fond of the United Way charity. In fact, he chaired Pratt & Whitney’s United Way Campaign in 1993 and 1994; chaired the United Technologies Corporation United Way Campaign in 2000; and was a member of 2001 and 2002 Hartford Capital Area United Way Campaign Cabinet.
