Business Opportunities Trade Fair and Conference at Fort Rucker, Aug. 25

Patricia Barnes, founder of Sister Schubert Rolls, will be the featured speaker at the Small Business Opportunities Trade Fair and Conference held at Aviator's Landing (formerly the Officer's Club) at Fort Rucker on Wednesday, August 25, 2004. Mrs. Barnes, a member of the Sorell College of Business Advisory Council, will discuss how to launch a successful business from home.

The trade fair and conference will begin at 8:30 AM and continue until 4:00 PM. Other sessions include Marketing on the Internet, presented by the Atlanta Electronic Commerce Resource Center; Financing Your Business, presented by U.S. Small Business Administration and a panel of local bankers; and How to Sell to the Government, featuring small business specialist with both Fort Rucker and the Army Corps of Engineers-Mobile District contracting offices.

Attnedees will be provided refreshment breaks and lunch is served from 12:00-1:30 PM (dutch treat) in the Aviator's Landing. The cost is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Contact the SBDC at Troy for more information 670-3771.
