The Sorrell College of Business Spring Convocation will be held Wednesday, April 6 in the Adams Theater. The featured speaker is Mr. Michael B. Lovik, a senior strategic planning executive with AT&T.

A proven leader in business, Mr. Lovik will bring to our students a strategic and cutting edge perspective of business drawn from his comprehensive experience of over 26 years in the communication industry to include work as Technical Consultant, Account Executive, National Account Manager, Sales Manager for National Account Sales and Technical Teams, and Manager of AT&T’s Six Sigma Consulting, Strategic Planning & Program Management in Network Operations and Engineering. Mr. Lovik is a graduate of Mercer University and has also completed Executive Programs as St. John's University, the Cambridge Institute at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and the Juran Institute for Six Sigma. Among his honors is being admitted into the AT&T Hall of Fame.

Mr. Lovik will visit classes and be available to faculty and students to discuss contemporary issues in strategic planning and technology innovation and management in the communications industry.
