Scholarships Available for the 2008-2009 Academic Year

All applications must be returned no later than May 15, 2008. Applications may be picked up in Bibb Graves 131.

Alabama Power Scholarship

• Undergraduate business major with at least 3.0 GPA;
• Enrolled full-time;
• Unconditionally admitted with 90 Semesters Hours completed;
• Must have at least 2 semesters of coursework remaining at time scholarship is awarded;
• Legal resident of Alabama.

Samuel H. Hendricks Scholarship

• Undergraduate business major with at least 3.0 GPA;
• Unconditionally admitted;
• Children of HB&G employees given first consideration.

John E. Horne Scholarship

• Undergraduate business major with at least 3.0 GPA;
• Unconditionally admitted with 90 Semester Hours completed (at least 30 SH at TROY);
• Must have at least 2 semesters of coursework remaining (excluding summer) at time scholarship is awarded.

Elton B. Stephens Marketing Major Scholarship

• Undergraduate Marketing major with 3.0 GPA;
• Full-time (12 semester hours minimum);
• Unconditionally admitted with 90 semester hours completed (at least 30 SH at Troy University).

Marriott Corporation Management Scholarship

• Undergraduate Management major with at least 3.0 GPA
• Full-time (12 semester hours minimum)
• Unconditionally admitted with 90 semester hours completed (at least 30 semester hours at Troy University).

Chancellor's Fellowship Award

• Troy University senior or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Required to work 10 hours per week in a mentoring program directed by an advisor on a project related to recipient’s degree.
